Math - we worked on t-tables and word problems using t-tables over the past week.  Completion on this unit will occur on Tuesday with a  math unit test to occur on Wednesday or Thursday. of next week.
Reading - This weeks reading has been preempted by finishing up of our HCE unit ending project.  We will return to our reading program and the cafe literacy strategies next week.
Writing - ongoing work on our Autobiography unit.  We have completed our Mystery Feet and Favourite Place paragraph.  Students have just begun a list of the 50 things they would like to do someday.
Science - we finished our science unit on weather this week.  All students received a study guide for the science test on December 7th.
Socials - students are wrapping up their first research project on the First Nations people.
HCE - we have worked on completing our personal needs flag which shows which need: Love/Belonging, Power, Freedom, or Fun drives our decision making and actions.  Laminating and finishing touches are yet to come!
Computers - we began working on the third module of Passport to the Internet.  It is a module titled "Instant Pigeon" which discusses cyberbullying and using the world of Instant messaging safely and appropriately.
Art - Christmas concert practicing is underway.  We will be performing "The Six White Boomers" by Rolf Harris.  Students are actively learning their lines a
