Math - We have been focusing on writing numbers in standard, word and expanded form along with drawing them to places values of 1000. There will be a test on this next Tuesday.
Reading - Cricket in Times Square = we have read to chapter 3 and completed various tasks around vocabulary and questions.
Writing - we have been working on using our five senses to improve our descriptive writing by adding sensory details. We are currently writing a colour poem.
Spelling - We practised classroom words and words with Lone e 9(ee/ea)
Science - We have just begun discovering properties of light. Last week we did an experiment to discover that light always travels in a straight line.
